Delegates from the Embassy of the Republic of India visit PSU

Mr. Abbagani Ramu, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Mr. Ashwin M. Kotnis, Counsellor, from the Embassy of the Republic of India in Bangkok paid an official visit to PSU on 13 February 2019. They were warmly received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, and team. The objective of this visit was to discuss possible academic collaboration between the Embassy and PSU, particularly regarding the establishment of an Indian Studies Centre or India Corner at PSU. After the constructive initial discourse, further discussions will center on practical details. Other potential areas of collaboration, such as co-organizing special talks on Gandhi Philosophy, and providing technical support for yoga workshops, were also explored. As part of their visit, the delegates toured the Dr. Thanat Khoman ASEAN Studies Center, PSU’s newest gateway to ASEAN and ASEAN-partner countries.
