Japanese Ambassador Honors the 6th Japan Education Fair at PSU

His Excellency Mr. Shigekazu Sato, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan, brought great honor to Prince of Songkla University on February 8, 2013, by thoughtfully opening the 6th Japan Education Fair in Songkhla. During the fair, hosted by the PSU Faculty of Liberal Arts, the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and Japanese university representatives gave valuable presentations on their universities, the possibilities to study in Japan, and available Japanese Government Scholarships.

His Excellency and entourage were welcomed by the PSU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, PSU executives, and faculty representatives. During the meeting, Dr. Chusak shortly introduced PSU to our guests, and mentioned the strong PSU friendship with many Japanese universities. PSU and Japanese representatives also had the chance to discuss more possible future collaborations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adisa Teo, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, reported about faculty's activities related to Japanese language, and thanked for the support offered by the Japan Foundation in terms of textbooks for classes and lecturers' training
