Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutapong Somjit, lecturer in the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, visited PSU on July 10, 2013. He was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ram Yamsaengsung, Assistant President for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Booncharoen Wongkittisuksa and Assoc. Prof. Mitchai Chongcheawchamnan, Associate Deans from the Faculty of Engineering (PSU), and by the PSU International Affairs representatives.

The objective of his visit was to discuss future collaboration between University of Leeds and PSU, especially in the area of engineering. The possible collaborative activities concern student abroad programs; staff exchange programs, research collaboration, as well as a 3+1+1 year degree program with the PSU Faculty of Engineering. In order to initiate such cooperation, the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of the University of Leeds and the PSU Faculty of Engineering plan to sign an MOU at faculty level in the near future.
