Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, PSU Vice President for International Affairs, and Mrs. Salma Kosumphant, Head of the PSU International Affairs Office, joined the 5th ASEAN+3 Heads of International Relations Meeting titled "A Route towards the World Class University: Threats to Higher Education in East Asia Region and New Trends in Collaboration on Teaching & Learning and Research Activities", held at Peking University, Beijing, P.R. China, from May 28-29, 2015.
The meeting gathered 62 executives and staff of International Relations Office from the ASEAN countries + China, Japan and Korea, to share experiences in several aspects both in academic and non-academic areas. The meeting also strengthened the relations among member universities.
The fifth meeting consisted of a Plenary Presentation on the Good Practices on "A Route towards the World Class University: Threats to Higher Education in East Asia Region and new Trends in Collaboration on Teaching & Learning and University Research", presented by National University of Singapore, Peking University (China) and Kyoto University (Japan), as well as a site visit to China top ranked universities, namely Peking University and University of Science and Technology Beijing.
