With a 100% success rate of the first-generation graduates in getting hired, the PSU Faculty of Medical Technology has been approved by the Thai Medical Technology Council to develop more courses in order to become a leading research-based faculty, to increase the number of lecturers, and most importantly, to offer a Master’s degree program within the next three years.
Ambitious future plans
The PSU Faculty of Medical Technology had more than 200 undergraduate students enrolled over the last five years. The faculty is planning to increase the number of lecturers holding mainly a doctorate in medical technology, as well as switching to a more active learning program, encouraging students to engage in more activities, including producing more e-learning systems. Additionally, the faculty will accept more undergraduate students. In the meantime, a research institute for health sciences will be founded to start fulfilling faculty’s purpose to work toward the benefit of the public.
