Prince of Songkla University held its annual Songklanagarind Day Outstanding Lecturer Awards at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, on November 12, 2012.

The evening—the final night of PSU's 2012 convocation ceremonies—included the bestowal of four honorary doctorates; the Anusorn Songklanagarind Award; and the Eakin Laugesen Memorial Fund Award for Outstanding Lecturer.

The objective of the event is to honor academics around the world for their extraordinary efforts in education and research, as well as to commend those whose devotion to PSU helps make the university one of the top five in Thailand.

PSU President Dr. Chusak Limsakul delivered an inspirational and powerful message stressing the importance of higher education, international collaboration, and forward thinking. He also welcomed all to a splendid dinner and praised the year's honorees.
