Asst. Prof. Dr. Proespichaya Kanatharana, Asst. Prof. Panote Thavarungkul, Dr. Chongdee Thammakhet, and Dr. Opas Bunkoed, lecturers and researchers at the PSU Faculty of Science, won the gold and bronze prizes at the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF), held in South Korea from November 27–December 2, 2012.
Previously, their inventions, "Formaldehyde Sensor" and "Environmentally Friendly Micro-extraction", won prizes from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). At the Seoul International Invention Fair, their inventions were really impressive so they won two prizes, namely the gold prize and the bronze prize. This awards shows PSU researchers' potential at the international level.
